I used to see quite a few example of Royal Crown Derby China, but I haven’t seen much of late and certainly NOT of this incredibly fine quality. A pair or large Dinner Plates. Old Imari design with the traditional Cobalt Blue, Rust, White colouration with HEAVY Gold accents. These positively gleam in real life. My camera flash washed them out somewhat. In different lights these look different, depending on how the light picks up the Gold, but they are a matched pair! Both are approximately 10 1/2 in diameter. They are both in excellent antique condition. Marked as follows – Derby China – Crown Mark – Royal Crown Derby – English Bone China – 1128 – and also the Roman numerals XXXV11.
