I used to see quite a few example of Royal Crown Derby China, but I haven’t seen much of late and certainly NOT of this incredibly fine quality. Old Imari with the traditional Cobalt Blue, Rust, White and HEAVY Gold accents. These positively gleam in real life. My camera flash washed them out somewhat. In different lights these look different, depending on how the light picks up the Gold, but they are a matched pair! Both are approximately 9 in diameter. Very attractive scalloped edges set these apart. Overall both in excellent antique condition. One Plate has a small chip, but it is on the underside rim, on which the Plate sits. It is not a underside rim chip, so its location makes it unnoticeable, unless one turns the Plate over and looks at the bottom.
