Beautiful antique Royal Crown Derby large footed fruit / centerpiece dish in Imari Pattern 8731, dating to 1902. This impressive lozenge-shaped serving and display piece features rich cobalt blue panels, floral decoration, extensive gold gilding, ornate decorative ends and four raised scroll-style feet. The underside carries the Royal Crown Derby England backstamp, hand-painted Pattern No. 8731 and the factory “X” year cipher associated with 1902 production. Pattern 8731 is a documented Royal Crown Derby Imari design and is closely associated with the decorative “Double Diamond” style. Genuine Royal Crown Derby. Antique early 20th-century production.
