1887 Royal Crown Derby lozenge shaped serving dish, Kings pattern #383. Dimensions 28.5 cm wide and 21 cm deep. Gloriously presented in the hand painted Imari colourways of cobalt blue and brown with lavish gilded highlights. The base bears the Royal Crown Derby back stamp, impressed date code and painters marks. This piece is in perfect original condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage that I can identify. A more uncommon shape, very handsome, displays beautifully and typical of this fabulous producer which alas is no longer in production.
