1887 Royal Crown Derby gadrooned dessert plate, Imari “Kings” pattern #383. Dimensions 22 cm diameter. Gloriously presented in the hand painted Imari colourways of cobalt blue and brown with lavish gilded highlights. The base bears the pre Royal Crown Derby back stamp, impressed Derby and date mark, hand painted pattern number and painters marks. In excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration that I can identify, some minor wear in places. Very handsome, displays beautifully and typical of this fabulous producer which alas is no longer in production.
