C 1889 Royal Crown Derby round plate, imari pattern #495. Dimensions 23.5 cm diameter. Gloriously presented in the hand painted Imari colourways of cobalt blue and brown with lavish gilded highlights, with the addition of unusual pale green touches. The base bears the Royal Crown Derby England back stamp, impressed Derby and date mark and hand painted pattern number. In excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration that I can identify. Very handsome, displays beautifully and typical of this fabulous producer which alas is no longer in production.
