1882 Royal Crown Derby set of 4 coffee demitasse duos Imari pattern #524. Gloriously presented in the hand painted Imari colourways, this set of 4 also includes some less common green highlights. The saucers bear the impressed Derby cypher along with the hand painted dot code, hand painted pattern number and the RCD cypher. The cups bear the hand painted pattern number and the RCD cypher. There are no repairs or damage that I can identify though there are some very minor ink spots from the hand painting process, very typical of the period technology and size of the pieces. A very handsome set which displays beautifully and typical of this fabulous producer which alas is no longer in production.
