A stunning example of a Royal Crown Derby two handled pedestal Vase/Urn in Old Imari 1128, 1st quality. The vase is in the Imari pattern and heavily decorated with cobalt blue and gold gilding and is marked with the number 1251 and the letter G. The piece is thought to date to Circa 1904. The piece is in “as new” condition with no scuffs to the gilding or scratches, no cracks hairline or other and no chips to the vase itself or the base. The base photograph is not a particularly good one as it looks to show chips. There are no chips and the base feels smooth. I think it is a case of paint not being applied as the glaze is smooth. No restoration work has been carried out. Would make a fabulous addition to any collection. The vase/urn measures approximately 30 cm in height.
