The dish is of superb’Royal Crown Derby’ quality; a piece fully 119 years old. The winter white body has been richly decorated with broad cobalt blue bands and lavish gilding. There are three delicately beaded borders. The comport will be a perfect addition to your teaware collection and to your dressed tea table. Cobalt Blue on The Royal Shape. Made in England c. There are virtually no use scratches. The cobalt blue colour is rich and clear with no losses. There is one area with a few losses to the gilding, please see photograph 2.
