9768 Royal Crown Derby Plate. An Royal Crown Derby 1126 (same as 1128 but with the detailed rim) Imari plate. Lovely rich design with extensive gilt, and one of the most popular of the Derby patterns. Marked to the reverse and having the date code for 1887 making it a Victorian example. Very good with very little wear for period. Some underglaze marks to the reverse from production and some marks to the footrim as expected for period. Height 22 cms (8 3/4 inches) Width 22 cms (8 3/4 inches) Weight 418 grams (before packing).
