Offered in this sale is a group of twelve Royal Crown Derby 10 5/8 dinner plates decorated with the popular Imari pattern 2451. They are all marked on the back with the same company stamp and date coded for 1984 (see 2nd image). Each plate weighs close to 1.5 pounds. I do not believe that these were ever used but rather were used for display purposes in a large breakfront. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines, surface scratches, gilt wear or restoration on any of them. It is nice to find a complete set of twelve of these that are all marked identically and are not an “assembled” group.
