RARE ROYAL CROWN DERBY TRADITIONAL IMARI SOUP TUREEN W/UNDER PLATE, 2451. Available for your consideration is this stunning and very difficult to find SOUP TUREEN WITH UNDER PLATE by Royal Crown Derby in the Traditional Imari pattern from a Boston area estate, #2451. This three piece tureen combo is in an Oriental Imari inspired pattern and elaborately decorated in cobalt blue, red and gold. Handles are decorated with gold and cobalt acorns and has scalloped edges. Handle is an acorn. Assembled tureen measures approx. 12″ in diameter and 9″ tall to acorn handle. Tureen base measures approx. 12″ in diameter and 5 1/4″ tall. 10 1/2″ in diameter and 4 1/2″ tall. Under plate measures approx. 12 7/8″ in diameter and 1 3/4″ tall, (14 1/2 across the handles). No chips, cracks or repairs. Appear to be seldom if ever used. Use the pictures to help gage the condition. All pieces are signed with the Royal Crown Derby mark and pattern 2451.
