Up for sale are two hard-to-find new in box Royal Crown Derby figurines from the Royal Cats collection, entitled “Pearly Queen” and “Pearly King”. These figurines were issued in 1989. They are LIII, so they were made in 1990. They were not issued with stoppers and do not come with any. They are in like new condition in their boxes. The boxes show very light wear to the corners. I believe they are supposed to be paperweights. Pearly Queen stands at 7.75 inches, a slight bit taller than Pearly King at 7.5 inches. The cats are wearing royal hats, and feature fancy fronts. They have gold and blue motifs on the sides and front. Pearly Queen has “Pearly Queen Stepney” on her back, and Pearly King has “Pearly King Mile End” on his back.
