A lovely pair of (2) antique Robert Bloor era Royal Crown Derby heart shaped serving plates, early-to-mid nineteenth century. Both are hand painted with floral bouquet centers and border cartouches, cobalt blue bands, and gilt detailing. 1.5″h x 10.25″l x 8l. In fair antique condition, both displaying general crazing, yellowing/discoloration, light surface scratches, and mild decoration fading/loss, one plate also having rough spots along its rim, some porcelain separations under the glaze to its underside, and a hairline crack towards the plate center (visible near the underside foot), the other plate also appearing to have two intersecting hairline cracks – see photos.
