Royal Crown Derby Late Georgian Era Antique Red Mark c. 1820 Imari Design Teapot. The piece bears the pictured red crown mark used by the Derby works from 1806 to 1820. The teapot has quite lovely lines with scrolled handle, goose neck spout and ribbed square finial. The Imari inspired design shows rich color and fine detail throughout. The piece measures 12″ long, 6″ high and 5 in diameter. The pot and lid are in good condition. The lid is missing the interior stop (please see picture) and there is a shallow 3/16 flake on the other interior rim side. There is a very old professional repair to the spout end (+/- ¾) which I only found under black light. This lovely early 1800’s Imari teapot would make a fine addition to any collection of Georgian period Royal Crown Derby. Get images that make Supersized seem small.
