Rarely Found: Full Set of 12 – Royal Crown Derby The Chatsworth Collection Thimbles: on Display Stand. Designed by the RCD artist, Sue Rowe in 1995 based on Chatsworth House, the stately home and seat of the Duke of Devonshire. 12 thimbles each with a different flower; and a motif from the interior of Chatsworth House. The flowers are: Crocus; Daffodil; Honeysuckle; American cowslip; Anemone; Azalea; Camellia Michaelmas Daisy; Orchid; Pansy; Water Lily and Weymouth Pine. Each contains 2 back stamps to the inner of the thimble One being the Royal Crown Derby back stamp with the word Chatsworth underneath the stamp; the other being a back stamp of Chatsworth House. Each thimble stands approximately 1 inch in height and sits on the original customised display stand (Has green beige covering to rear and to standing area for each thimble; with hook to the rear for hanging as a wall display).
