Beautiful antique, late 19th century Imari tray or serving platter by Royal Crown Derby in “Kings Imari” pattern. The dish features gilded rims and decorated in popular during the era, Japanese Imari style decorations with blue and red floral decoration, embellished with gilded accents. The pattern is referred to as “Kings Imari”. Marked with Royal Crown Derby mark and date mark representing 1888 production period mark. Measures about 11.5″ long and 9.75″wide. Condition: use related marks and scratches, wear on the underside/foot, production/firing imperfections. Minor rough areas around rims but nothing major. Wear to decorations and gilt – age and use related. Some wear to white glaze in the center. Please study pictures closely for more details. I posted many pictures and close-ups to allow my customers to study the condition of this item. Imperfections are correspond with age and are expected. Despite the flaws, it’s a wonderful example of English wares of late Victorian era.
