It was founded in 1750 by Andrew Planche and William Deusbury in Derby, England! King George lll, recognized the uniqueness and high quality and gave the company the honor of using a crown on its back stamp. Following that, Queen Victoria gave further honors to the manufacturers and awarded the company, a royal warrant, and bestowed upon in the title of” The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company”. Right after that company employed some of its finest artistic creators such as landscape painter Zacharian Boreman, and one of the best when it comes to flower painting, William Billingsley, William Pegg and Walter Withers, along with figure painters like Richard Askew and James Banford.
