Vintage Royal Crown Derby Teaset dating between 1806 and 1825. This service carries Derby marks from the factory sited on Nottingham Road, Derby. At the time of production and original decoration, patterns were not given names. However, this pattern was. Re-introduced by the Royal Crown Derby company. In about 1960 and continued in production until recently. Used by Royal Crown Derby, the pattern was given a name,’Princess’. Included in the photos are marks, for example, the teapot’s mark folllows the teapot pic. The painting is incredible and appears the teapot was never used, The sugar and creamer are also have their painting in Excellent conditon. Small signs of guild wear on tea cups, saucers and serving trays. There are multiple markings, as follows. The saucers and Sugar bowl are marked “Bloor Derby”. The Demitasse cups and saucers show wear inside and some have no marking. The remaining items are marked with a Crown over a cross and a dramatic D. The Serving plate Crown/cross/D is over #52.
