If there is gold/platinum trim, there will be less than 5% loss. Good very lightly used might have a few utensil marks, very light wear. If there is gold/platinum trim, there will be less than 1% loss. Almost new, means I see no real signs of wear of any kind but won’t sell as new. New means I know they are NEW. I have been packing breakables and dishes for years! I use fresh bubble wrap and packing peanuts, and as I pack thousands of dishes each year, I do it very well. However I use the postal service and at times they do not understand the word “FRAGILE”, or they have seasonal workers. This is why I insure all boxes.
