Condition – As you can see in my pictures, there are a few specks of paint loss. If you look very closely, you can see very faint lines are the ankles. I took out my black light and it appears the legs have been repaired. It is a professional repair and very well done. You can also see in my pictures that the hat has old repairs on it as well as a few tiny chips on the rim. This piece is in the neighborhood of 200 years old and while it does have damage, it still shows well and has the beautiful design and detail that makes these pieces so desirable.
