A beautiful Royal Crown Derby fine bone china Cobalt Blue vase richly decorated with a heavy gold raised fronds and foliage design in the discontinued 1098 pattern. Decorative pieces in this pattern are very scarce these days. This vase is in good antique condition. The gilt has moderate wear commensurate with its used/antique condition only noticeable on close inspection. At 121 years old, this is a lovely, rare, high quality item to add to any collection. This piece has been examined carefully in order to offer you an accurate report on its condition. There is not crazing, repairs or chips on this item but a faint 2.5 inches hairline crack running from its neck down which is hardly noticeable and a 0.5 inches approx faint hairline at the top of one handle both of which I have photographed and zoomed for you to assess. Please bear in mind this is and antique/pre-owned item and as such, it may show signs of usage such as tiny scuffs and moderate wear to gilt, hard to see with the naked eye but only on close inspection.
