Pair Of Fine 1907 Royal Crown Derby Imari Pattern Slender Vases. The vases are decorated with the Royal Crown Derby Imari pattern number 6299, known as the “witches pattern”. The colours are of richly glowing terracotta, cobalt blue, pale green and all are hand gilded, depicting white & red flowers against a blue & white background. The golden scroll handles protrude from the shoulders and there are four finely moulded bracket feet. The rim is deeply embossed with miniature floral sprays. The bases bear the Crown Derby stamp & have the date code for 1907. The pattern number of 1318 is also stamped to the underside on both pieces. Dimensions The vases both have a height of 9 inches (22.8 cm) and an overall diameter of 4.5 inches (11.4 cm). The set weighs 755 g. Condition The vases are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
