For sale are a beautiful set of three teacups & saucers manufactured by the world famous Royal Crown Derby factory in England. The items form part of the classic Old Imari 1128 range (also numbered 6149) and feature a beautiful pattern of stylised flowers, foliage and icons in a typical Imari coloured palette of reds, oranges, blues and lavish golds to gilding and pattern. They are hand painted examples and all have early production dates ranging from 1908 to 1917. The cups and saucers are a lovely shape which lends itself beautifully to this stunning pattern. The set is in excellent condition for it’s vintage. There is one tiny little nick to the rim of one of the saucers but otherwise there are no other chips, and there are no cracks, crazing or restorations. One of the cups has a little black underglazed mark to the interior, which dates from time of manufacture. Please refer to the attached photographs for confirmation of condition. Any white marks to the item in the photos are as a result of light reflection. Cup Size – 4cm (1.5 inches) in height and 9cm (approx 3.5 inches) in diameter. Saucer Size – 13.3cm (5.25 inches) in diameter. Fully stamped to the base with the Crown Derby England mark and the various date marks as shown in the attached photograph for your reference.
