Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A BEAUTIFUL SET OF TWELVE (12) CRESCENT SALAD PLATES IN THE “DERBY POSIES” PATTERN. These gorgeous plates are decorated with four floral bouquets with assorted colorful flowers and foliage. The outside border is molded in a swirl pattern and the scalloped outer edges are heavily gilded. These plates have the “Burford” shape rather than the more commonly found “Surrey” shape. Measure 8 3/4″ long, 5″ wide and 3/4 deep. Each plate is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are some very minor no-harm worn areas in the enameling on the raised areas of the molded pattern on a few of the plates. No other noted flaws with the overall condition considered excellent on these gorgeous plates.
