A fantastic set of twelve (12) Royal Crown Derby bone china goblets. Each goblet features fine gilt detailing and a hand painted hunting scene. Eleven of the twelve goblets have a fox verso their hunting scene, but one unusual piece features a beagle. Various artists have signed these goblets, there are four by E. Browning, seven by R. Pimm, and one by F. 4.75″h and 3.25″dia rim to rim. The set is in good vintage condition. Goblets exhibit light wear, surface dirt/dust, crazing, minimal paint and gilt loss, and some flea bites to their base rims, all of which is consistent with age/use. One goblet has a hairline crack running through its stem and another has a hairline crack in its rim. All are marked on their base underside with the deep red Royal Crown Derby insignia and the III date mark, indicating these pieces were made in 1940.
