Royal Crown Derby Old Imari 1st Quality Solid Gold Band Large Octagonal Bowl This is a beautiful and large 11 Royal Crown Derby, Octagonal Bowl. It is an excellent 1st Quality Solid Gold Band piece that is decorated in the distinctive Old Imari Palette of Iron Red, Cobalt Blue and lavished with an abundance of 22ct Gold in delicate brush-work as well as broad bands. It is one of the larger pieces in the Solid Gold Band range and it would make a beautiful fruit bowl, salad bowl or centre piece. It is an exceptional piece of Royal Crown Derby showing the finest skills of artists in design, modelling and decoration. A sumptuous Solid Gold Band Bowl that gleams in the light and is ideal for display. This beautiful Bowl is in Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. It does have one very small mark just under the rim (shown in photograph 8) but otherwise is in near perfect condition. It has the complete Red Royal Crown Derby Backstamp signifying that it is 1st Quality and it measures approximately 11″ in diameter and it is dated 1981 with the cypher “XLIV.
