This is the most beautifully decorated and gilded lidded Honey Pot from Royal Crown Derby in the Solid Gold Band version of the 1128 Old Imari pattern which is dated 2012 to the base. My favourite part is the image of the honey bee to the semi circular recess for a spoon and another gold bee on a cobalt blue background towards the base – nice detail beautifully executed. It measures around 4.5 inches high x 4 inches maximum diameter, is no longer part of their current range and can only imagine how many hundreds it would have cost – just stunning. It is a factory FIRST quality item in excellent condition free from damage, wear, crazing or restoration.
