“Rare Royal Crown Derby Paperweight” Description : This is a rare paperweight in the form of a blue crown. It was issued to Commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the granting of the Royal Warrant to the Derby factory. It is entitled “One Hundred Royal Years” and this paperweight was only produced for one year in 1990 Place of Origin : England Maker : Royal Crown Derby Materials : Porcelain Marks : Royal Crown Derby and script explaining the Anniversary. Age : It was issued only in 1990 Measurements : It is approx 11 cm high including the finial. Condition : The crown is in excellent condition with no faults. There is a box which has a couple of words in biro inside the top flap. This is a pre used vintage or antique item and I list all the faults I can find in the condition report, but please look at the enlargeable photos to further appraise condition, as these form part of the description. It was made in 1990 to celebrate 100 years since Queen Victoria awarded the Royal Warrant to Crown Derby, making it Royal Crown Derby. It stands at 4 inches tall and is 3 1/2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the base is fully marked as shown and it has its stopper. There is a box but no certificate. A lovely piece to add to your collection.
