On offer is this sumptuous, antique, Royal Crown Derby twin handle vase and cover. Peach and yellow ground has hand decorated raised gilt detailing. Height of 20.7cm. Across the widest approx 11cm. In good antique condition – it presents beautifully. The gilt work is bright and well defined. There are two small hairlines on the top rim (see photo 11) although they do not impact as the cover (lid) sits in place. A beautiful piece by a quality maker.

Fully marked on the base they have gilded mask handles, the body being in Cobalt Blue ground with raised gilt enamel overlay highly decorated with birds, butterflies and foliage. These vases are beautifully decorated and display well. Fully back stamped with the Royal Crown Derby mark together with the number 112. There is some wear to the gilding on the handles and rim to both vases. They are both free from any cracks, hairline or otherwise and no restoration has taken place. There is a very small chip to the base of one of the vases which is not noticeable when stood and I have tried to photograph it. All in all given the age of the pieces they are in excellent condition and would make a lovely addition to any collection. The vases measures approximately 16 cm in height. This is a truly stunning vase with fine intricate detail. The two vase sections are a foxglove shape with a beautiful wave detail around the top. They are vibrant aqua blue in colour. The base is white with gold detail highlighting the leaf veins. The Royal Crown of Derby Pottery stamp can be seen on the underside of the vase. There is a chip on one side of the vase sections on the top but as you will see this is still striking and in no way detracts from the beauty of the item. Height: 16.25cm (6 1/2). It is dated 1906. The main body of the urn is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. There has been some restoration to the rim of the cover as seen in the final photo.
