This Teacup and Saucer set has rare Tree of Life pattern in Chinoiserie Imari style and dates from the George III period of the early 19th century. Both the dish and the cup are marked. The set comes from a great estate collection of rare teacups and Americana. Condition: Good condition, some wear to the decoration. Height 2 7/8 Inches 7.3 cm. Saucer Width 5 1/2 Inches 14.0 cm. Cup Width 3 3/8 Inches 8.7 cm. Rare, Antique 1800s Royal Crown Derby Imari Japan Pattern Tree Dinner Plate. Please see the photos of the mark. I actually have 2 of these plates but decided to list them in different listings. The plates are exactly the same but have different issues. This plate has gold wear which is mostly noted in area on the rim. Please see the photos. The plate also has crazing. No chips, cracks etc were noted on the plate. The other plate we have listed in another listing does not have any crazing but does have a small chip on the underside rim. Both are still lovely plates that can be used. This lovely plate measures about 9 3/4 wide. High gloss white porcelain with lots of red/brown color design. A blue tree with gold is in the center of the plate. A blue bird and a red/brown are found on the plate as well. This plate is fully marked on the reverse as stated above. Wear is age appropriate. A lovely hard to find dinner plate in this pattern. Most of my items are vintage in nature and I have had for years. I describe my items the best I can based on my ability.
