Royal Crown Derby Traditional Imari Tazza Compote, ca. We are pleased to offer for sale a Tazza in the Royal Crown Derby Traditional Imari pattern. The piece is in absolute excellent condition. It has been kept in a box for many years. It is 6.75″ across and 2.5″ high. There are two gold gilt open handles on the side. The mark was used from 1891 to 1921. Royal Crown Derby in a circle above crown of interlinked D’s, vertical England on the side. With the year cypher for 1913. I have shown many pictures to capture the beauty of this little compote. This very pretty’tazza’ which is a little comport or serving stand for a small cake, cup cakes or sweets can equally be used for displaying trinkets or as a decorative showpiece. The dish is of superb’Royal Crown Derby’ quality; a piece fully 119 years old. The winter white body has been richly decorated with broad cobalt blue bands and lavish gilding. There are three delicately beaded borders. The comport will be a perfect addition to your teaware collection and to your dressed tea table. Cobalt Blue on The Royal Shape. Made in England c. Diameter 21.5 cm 8. Height 11.3 cm 4. This is a superb Fine Bone China Antique Dish in the stunning Royal Shape. The Dish is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
