Pair of Royal Crown Derby Signed WD Boat Scene Beaded Gold & Red Miniature Vases. Beautiful pair of porcelain miniature vases. Decorated with hand painted boats on water framed by gold gilt beading and raised and beaded gold floral grape vines. Has an overall red background. Marked on the bottom Royal Crown Derby England with a date code for 1904. Signed by the artist WD. Probably painted by W E J Dean. Though I could not find any examples of his work signed WD, the style and time period appear to be correct for his work. These have some wear to the gilding and minor scratches to the red, but are in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Each vase measures approximately 2 7/8 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.

A beautiful muffin dish with lid in the Mikado pattern by maker Royal Crown Derby. Stands about 4 3/8 high from table to top of finial. Blue Asian scenes on white ground with gold trim. Antique Royal Crown Derby scene painted pot and cover, signed W E J Dean (Circa 1919). Waisted form with four spouts and central hole to the lid, decorated with a bridge and castle scene within beaded gilt shield cartouche on a gilt leaf and cobalt blue ground. Sevres style hand-painted porcelain vase. Vase features a pair of curved intricate ormolu handles and rim. The vase tapers sharply towards the base, Metal foot. The porcelain body boasts a classical figural vignette of a courting scene, signed Roche to the lower right. The opposite side features a peaceful nature scene. It is accented with Cobalt blue trim and gilt filigree details throughout. The piece is finished with a pierced metal rim. A metal band accents the lower body and the scalloped, footed base. There is a little bit of oxidation on bronze. The vases are 11 Tall and 4.5 in Widest point, base 3.5″ x 3.5″. There IS A PICTURED HAIR LINE TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF THE PORCELAIN, will not really affect the great looking please, see the pictures.
