Both patterns have dark blue background color. Both patterns are exquisite! Caverswall has an interesting history and you can discover for yourself by doing a search on the Internet. This listing is for 4 Romany luncheon dessert plates that measure 8 1/4 in diameter. The only minor flaws that I can find is some tiny faint scratch lines on the 22 kt. Gold inner verge due to the plates being stacked with out any form of protection between the plates. I would display these plates in a cabinet or on an accent table.
