A vintage Royal Crown Derby’2415′ Imari two pint teapot. 6¾” tall to finial and 10¾” spout to handle. Date cyphers for 1921. For sale is a teapot, manufactured by Royal Crown Derby, in the ever-popular “1128 – Old Imari” pattern. The elaborate design features flowerheads and trellis work in typical Imari colours, dark blue, red & whitesee pics. There is also elaborate gilding to the handlesee pic. 5 & lid’s finialsee pic. The teapot measures 7 1/8″(18cms) long(body)a little under 11″(a little under 28cms) from spout-to-handle a little under 5″(12.5cms) wide & 6 1/8″(15.5cms) tall and holds 2 pints. It is of first quality & fully marked to the basesee pic. The teapot is in great condition, appearing to have seen little use, there is no staining to the interiorsee pic. There is the odd spot of wear to the gilding presentsee pics. The teapot will be well wrapped and courier delivered(fully insured & trackable).
