Royal Crown Derby Old Avis 6 dinner plates. A very rare and scarce set of six dinner plates in good condition. This design is full of oriental atmosphere with graceful birds dancing in paradise. This is a high quality series produced from around 1933. A true work of art! The backstamp tells us that this one is from 1973. It is vintage this year. This item is 50 years old, but I think it was never used! It is so beautiful that we think it was never used. It is believed to have been carefully displayed. We have on offer a very eye catching. 1970’s “Gold Aves” trio in very good uncrazed undamaged condition. Saucer & plate have some utensil marks which certainly do not detract from the overall visual.
