For items like I have here condition is everything. Mine are in like new condition. I don’t think set was ever used but can’t put new for obvious reasons.

Incredibly beautiful, is this example of Royal Crown Derby! Hand painted with 24K gold accents with a Registration Number in England placing its manufacture between 1889 and 1890. That something this delicate has lasted 130 years is remarkable. I have another cup of this pattern only in Yellow also listed. Please see pictures as they are the bulk of the description. Pair of Antique 1921 Royal Crown Derby Imari Plates / Biscuit Cookie Trays Excellent Condition. Size of Plate/Tray 8.7/8″and 9.5″ to handle and 1 height. The production of Derby porcelain dates from the second half of the 18th century, although the authorship and the exact start of the production remains today as a matter of conjecture. The oldest remaining pieces in the late 19th century bore only the words «Darby» and «Darbishire» and the years 1751-2-3 as proof of place and year of manufacture. More important is the fact that the production of porcelain in Derby predates the commencement of the works of William Duesbury, started in 1756 when he joined Andrew Planche and John Heath to create the Nottingham Road factory, which later became the Royal Crown Derby. The company, particularly known for its high-quality bone china, having produced tableware and ornamental items since approximately 1750. It was known as’Derby Porcelain’ until 1773, when it became’Crown Derby’, the’Royal’ being added in 1890. The factory closed down in the past under Royal Doulton ownership, but production was revived under the renewed ownership of Hugh Gibson and Pearson family.

[Excellent] Royal Crown Derby Mikado 1979 oval large plate From Japan. 32.5cm x 27cm England Royal Crown Derby MIKADO Oval plate The stamp on the back indicates that it was made in 1979 (XLII was made in 1979) Mikado is the name of the series in Japanese, but is the painting Japanese? Rather, it is an oriental landscape and person as imagined by Westerners. From a Japanese perspective, the somewhat strange landscapes and people (including hairstyles and clothing) are interesting in a way. It is also beautiful as a decorative plate. There are no cracks, chips, or small scratches on the cutlery. There is no loss of gold paint. It is in very good condition, but it is a used item. (Inspected by an amateur).
