CONDITION: Slight wear to gold around well of saucer and inner gold trim on plate. 3 piece bone china cup, saucer and dessert plate produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1889. The date cipher indicates this year. Plate measures 7 inches in diameter. Saucer measures 5 1/4 inches in diameter. Cup is 2 inches high with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. Plate and saucer have scalloped borders. Rich, thick raised gold trims the rims. Beaded swags and round ornaments with bows hang like Christmas ornaments on the soft aqua ground. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. The Post Office requires this.
