Up for sale is a beautiful piece of English Bone China made by Royal Crown Derby of England. Our offering is a large ginger jar in the Old Imari pattern #1128. The piece stands approximately 7″ tall with the lid and has a base diameter of just over 4 1/4″ and the opening measuring 3 5/8. Both the lid and jar have the year mark XLVI for 1983. They are both marked as seen in the photos. In looking the piece over we find it to be in very nice condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and the interiors show no staining. We believe that both pieces are seconds as the marks have been scratched. There is no noticeable issue with the lid, but the base has a firing glaze imperfection. The decoration shows no wear with there being some wear to the gold along the top edge of the lid and rub marks on the shoulder of the base from the lid. See all photos for more detail. Superb Rare Royal Crown Derby. 1128 Old Imari Square Raised Handled Dish. It measures 7 inches across and 8 inches diagonally from the edge of each handle. This is a lovely looking piece that is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips or restoration and is of first quality. The dish is raised on four feet and the handles are nicely latticed. Has the Royal Crown Derby pottery backstamp on its base along with the date mark of. Please take a look at the photos (which you should be able to zoom in upon) to judge the condition for yourself as these form part of this item description. I have photographed it in different lighting conditions, to give you a better feel for it. Any white/shiny patches or spots shown on the figurine are just light reflections and not imperfections. Royal Crown Derby Green & Gold Dessert Plates & Servers, dated 1897,1906. An elaborately hand decorated gold over green pattern dessert plates and servers by Royal Crown Derby in pattern 5367. The gilding is heavy and raised over the apple green coloured border. The centres of the plates are white. There are a total of 17 dessert plates – measuring 8 3/4 inches in diameter each. There are 4 servers – 2 diamond shape and 2 oval. The date symbols on the back – date the servers for 1897 the date symbols on the back of the dessert plates for 1906.
