Royal Crown Derby “Old Imari” pattern trembleuse cup and saucer set. This style of saucer has been discontinued and is no longer available. The original idea of trembleuse sets was for persons with trembling hands, so they would not spill their coffee or hot chocolate. This belonged to my mother, as she collected tea and saucer pairs. It was never used as far as I know, but I don’t have the box or anything that came with it. Saucer: 6 1/4″ across 1 1/2″ tall Cup: 3 3/4″ across 4 1/4″ tall Condition is Like New.
