The plate decoration features cornucopia and flowers immersed in elaborate winding and scrolling stippled decoration, all in 22-karat raised paste yellow and rose gold on white ground. Circa 1810 English Derby factory porcelain topographical cache pot and stand. The beautiful and detailed hand painted scene is labeled in script “Near Makeny Derbyshire”. The scene is surrounded by an elaborately scrolled gilt frame. Two wonderful satyr handles are also gilded. Both the cache pot and the stand have gilt borders. Both cache pot and stand are marked with the Derby crown over D mark. The marks are different, and the cache pot is a bit loose in the stand, so it is possible that the cache pot and stand are a marriage. There is some minor wear to the gilt, particularly on the handles, and there is a small glaze hairline coming down from the gilt rim in the back which does not go through to the inside. Some staining on the inside. Original dealer tag on the bottom. Including the stand, measures 5 1/8 tall. Offered for sale is this antique circa 1770 Derby biscuit porcelain figurine of Summer (or a gardener). It’s nicely detailed. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The figure is approximately 5.5 inches tall. It is in overall good condition considering its age. There are some losses to the applied wheat and her head has been restuck (but it’s not obvious). Derby porcelain campana vase beautifully hand painted polychrome panel depicting a basket of flowers, antique circa 1820. This lovely antique English porcelain vase that has been extensively gilded with classical acanthus leaf scrolls and has two gilded serpent scroll handles. The base is marked with the hand painted red crowned crossed baton mark over D (used 1792- 1825) and also the painter or pattern number 43. There is a feint painter’s number 69 in green, the same as the leaves on the left of the flower basket. The vase was produced by the Derby Porcelain company of Nottingham road works, Derby, Derbyshire, England. The high footed campana vase stands 8 inches high and 6 5/8ths inches diameter. It weighs 1.386 kg. Condition: It is in good presentable antique condition with a small filled chip to the rim, some glaze crazing, discolouration inside the bowl of the vase, wear to the gilding, some of which has been retouched. One of the handles has an old repair. This is a very attractive item for display and perfect for a mantle shelf sidetable or a sideboard.
