Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A WONDERFUL ROYAL CROWN DERBY PORCELAIN IMARI “KINGS” PATTERN CUP AND SAUCER SET. Beautiful “Kings” pattern features flowers, leaves, foliage and scrolls in traditional “Imari” colors of cobalt and rust with h and painted features in 22K gold overlay on a white porcelain background. Both cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Only one of the cups is marked, however, all are guaranteed to be as represented. C up measures 2 3/4″ high and 2 7/8″ in diameter. Saucer measures 3/4″ high and 5 1/2″ in diameter. Please note that the cups reflect various degrees of use as to the overall staining of the interior. Five cups have a creamy interior with two others being slightly lighter inside and one is a true white as if it was never used. Please see all photos. This variation of the interior staining may be from the amount of use the cups received over the years and may possibly bleach out. We have not tried to remove this discoloration and will leave that to the next owner. The cups don’t appear “dirty” and the slight discoloration of the cup’s interior is really not a detraction.
